Message From the Couple
GUESTS! We can't wait for you to be part of our special day (or really, weekend) :). We understand that it is no small commitment to come to our wedding.
Invitations
1) If you received a "plus one" charm in your invitation, you can bring a guest to the wedding.
Just a few things to keep in mind : (updated 12/2024)
1) You will need to book your flight separately
2) Check your passport expiration!
3) You will need to book roundtrip transportation from the airport to the hotel
4) Please pay attention to your email as we will be sending detailed information approximately 2 weeks before the wedding.
Wedding Details:
1) Please check the itinerary for wedding events/times/locations, etc.
2) The ceremony and cocktail hour will be on the beach.
3) Attire for ceremony is beach formal. The weather is normally 85 degree so please do not feel a suit is necessary and make sure your shoes are comfortable for being on the sand.
4) Dinner and dancing will be at an indoor restaurant privately reserved for our reception located right by/on the beach. Feel free to change into something more formal for this (not required though). See the itinerary for timing,
About Us
What a love story we have! We met because we were the bright-eyed bushy-tailed criminal defense lawyers who lived in Brooklyn but took a job at Suffolk County Legal Aid. We ended up commuting together. We fell in love over our mutual dedication for our jobs and desire to help. I fell in love with the most independent, selfless, beautiful person who makes a difference in everyone’s lives that are lucky enough to have her in it. I now know I only started feeling alive once she came into my life. I am forever thankful for Suffolk County Legal Aid.
We ended up spending every single day together. We went to work together, went to the gym together, and explored Brooklyn together. She made me feel like a true tourist in my own city. I was taking train directions from someone who grew up in Kansas City, Kansas. It was safe to say that we were inseparable and we both knew it.
We decided to live with each other pretty quickly. We knew this was a big step in our relationship but we never looked back. We moved into a studio apartment and continued to explore our city together.
It was around this time where our relationship took a huge test. The pandemic hit and for the first time in 100 years, the whole world shut down. As we all know, the pandemic really tested relationships. We consider the pandemic as dog years for our relationship. However, we fell even more in love after we got our first dog, Bader*, during the Pandemic. This time was a bit of a blur but we made vivid memories through it.
We started to travel together, and anybody that knows me knows that I wouldn’t willingly get on a plane. I would always say “we can drive there!”. I wasn’t kidding about only feeling alive once she came into my life because now I wanted to travel, but only with her. Fast forward to our first all inclusive trip right here in Punta Cana. We traveled everywhere together. We tried new things together. We got out of our comfort zones together. Its only fitting that our wedding be where one of our first ventures began because our story has been a trip.
We can't wait to make everyone a part of our love journey; we assure you there's nowhere better than here.

Dancing and dinner will be at Sofrito's restaurant which is reserved for our guests. The reception is indoors so feel free to use the hour and a half of downtime to change, touch-up, grab a drink, etc.

Our suite
To know us is to know that the party will not stop at 9. We are working on details but as of now, we will continue the party at our suite and move to one of the clubs or sports bars.
